MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A shocking incident involving a Pennsylvania man has sent shockwaves through the community. Justin Mohn, a 32-year-old resident of the Levittown area in Middletown Township, has been accused of decapitating his father, Michael F. Mohn, and then posting a graphic video of the horrifying act on YouTube.

According to reports from The Philadelphia Inquirer, Justin Mohn was arrested late Tuesday and has since been charged with first-degree murder, abuse of a corpse, and possessing an instrument of a crime. The arrest took place in Bucks County, and the accused is currently being held without bail at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

The disturbing incident came to light when the victim’s wife called the police on Tuesday evening. Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene to find a grisly crime scene, with a significant amount of blood surrounding the victim’s body. Further investigation led them to discover a machete and knife in a bathtub on the first floor of the residence.

As per the criminal complaint, Michael Mohn’s severed head was found wrapped in a plastic bag inside a cooking pot in one of the home’s bedrooms. Additionally, bloodied rubber gloves were discovered in another bedroom. The police identified the victim as a retired civil engineer for the Army Corps of Engineers.

After committing the heinous act, Justin Mohn reportedly uploaded a 14-minute video to YouTube, where he displayed his father’s severed head and expressed right-wing conspiracy theories. The video also contained disturbing content aimed at the federal government and the U.S. Postal Service. YouTube removed the video shortly after it was posted, citing its strict policies against graphic violence and violent extremism.

Authorities revealed that Justin Mohn fled to Lebanon County, approximately 100 miles away from his residence, after jumping a fence at a National Guard facility. He was subsequently apprehended at Fort Indiantown Gap, a National Guard training facility, and his father’s white Toyota Corolla was found near the property’s fence.

The shocking nature of the crime has left the community in disbelief. Middletown Township Police Capt. Pete Feeney expressed his astonishment, stating, “As far as the crime itself, it’s not something we typically see here.”

The accused, Justin Mohn, is currently awaiting further legal proceedings as he remains in custody. The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office is leading the investigation into this gruesome incident.
