Chandigarh Police Arrest Two Persons Under Arms Act, Recover Knives

Chandigarh: The UT police have arrested two individuals under the Arms Act in separate incidents in the city. The police claim to have recovered two long-handled knives from the possession of the accused. The arrested individuals have been identified as Faizan alias Raza, a resident of Daria, and Ravinder, a resident of Sector 49.

In the first case, the Sector 11 police team was patrolling in Nayagaon when they noticed Faizan approaching them. Upon seeing the police, Faizan attempted to flee, but the police pursued and apprehended him. During a search, the police discovered a long knife in his possession.

The second accused, Ravinder, was arrested near the sports complex in Sector 50.

The Chandigarh police have been actively working to maintain law and order in the city. This recent arrest of the two individuals under the Arms Act showcases their dedication to ensuring the safety of the residents.
