RENTON, Wash. – The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the delivery driver who tragically lost his life while on duty in Renton last week.

Authorities from the King County Sheriff’s Office have confirmed that a man was discovered deceased from a gunshot wound at approximately 5 a.m. on January 25th. The shooting incident occurred in the parking lot of the Fairwood Pond Apartments located on SE Petrovitsky Road. Preliminary investigations suggest that the victim was delivering packages at the time of the incident. It is important to note that the driver was utilizing his personal vehicle and not a company-provided one during the shooting.
The delivery driver has been identified as Sergey Kubay, a 50-year-old individual.
According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
The investigation into this tragic incident remains ongoing as law enforcement agencies diligently work to gather additional information and seek justice.
