Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Five Family Members in Nalgonda District

In a devastating incident that occurred near Miryalaguda on the Narketpally-Addanki State Highway in Nalgonda district, a truck collided with a car, resulting in the instantaneous death of five family members, including two young children. The unfortunate victims have been identified as Cherukupalli Mahesh (35), his wife Jyothi (30), and their eight-year-old daughter, all residents of Nandipaadu locality in Miryalaguda. Additionally, 32-year-old Mahender and his two-year-old son Liansi, from Golnepalli village in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district, also lost their lives in the tragic accident.

One other occupant of the car, identified as Madhavi, sustained severe injuries and is currently fighting for her life. She has been admitted to a hospital in Miryalaguda for emergency treatment. The families of the victims are closely related and had been on a temple tour in Vijayawada and parts of the Krishna district before the unfortunate incident occurred.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the car was struck by a speeding truck, causing it to roll over multiple times before crashing. Despite efforts by the Miryalaguda police, the truck responsible for the accident is yet to be traced. A comprehensive investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the tragic collision.
