Bengaluru: Four Apprehended in Connection with Murder of Criminal
Four individuals from Bengaluru’s Vivek Nagar have been apprehended by the local authorities in connection with the killing of a 30-year-old man with a criminal record, following a dispute at a bar in the city.
The detained suspects, identified as Prashanth, Danush, Clement, and Sunil, all residents of Vivek Nagar, stand accused of the murder of Satish, also known as Military Satish, who had a history of involvement in criminal activities registered at the Vivek Nagar police station. The attack occurred outside Satish’s residence in Maya Bazar, as detailed by Shekar H Tekkanavar, DCP (Central), Bengaluru Central Division, as per a report by The Indian Express.
According to a police spokesperson, the altercation arose when Satish engaged in a confrontation with Prashanth and his companions during a recent visit to a local bar. Allegedly, Satish issued threats and insults directed at Prashanth, prompting the latter and his associates to devise a plan to eliminate Satish. The incident took place on January 24 when the assailants trailed Satish on his way home and launched a violent assault using machetes and other weapons.
