“Couple Crushed To Death in Salem Traffic Accident: Truck Driver’s Negligence Blamed”

Viral: India has witnessed numerous fatal traffic accidents due to poorly maintained roads, aged vehicles, reckless driving, and traffic law violations. Motorcycles are often involved in collisions resulting from speeding and other traffic offenses. Recently, a video of a collision between two trucks and a motorcycle near Tamil Nadu’s Raman Nagar crossing went viral, highlighting the negligence of the truck driver as the cause of a couple’s tragic death.

Salem Horrific Incident

According to authorities, a couple tragically lost their lives in a horrific traffic accident in Salem, Tamil Nadu. As they were passing Raman Nagar, the traffic suddenly slowed down, and Alagarasan, riding a two-wheeler, came to a stop behind a tank truck. Unfortunately, a truck transporting rice from Karnataka collided with Alagarasan and Ilamathi’s bike from behind, resulting in their untimely demise.

Truck Driver Is On the Run

The victims have been identified as Alagarasan, a 30-year-old construction worker, and his wife Ilamathi, 25. The couple was traveling with their two- and five-year-old toddlers towards Pannavadi. Fortunately, the children only suffered minor injuries and were promptly taken to a local hospital for treatment. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to Mettur for an autopsy, and the Karumulai Kudal Police are currently investigating the case using CCTV footage. The truck driver is currently at large.
