RUTLAND — A dramatic high-speed chase that unfolded in Rutland ended in the arrest of 30-year-old Bradley Mullan of Rutland Town. Mullan now faces multiple charges, including DUI Drugs and grossly negligent operation, according to authorities.

The incident occurred on January 27, around 7:30 p.m., when vigilant troopers from the Rutland Barracks received information about a potentially stolen vehicle leaving the Cortina Inn. Acting promptly, the troopers initiated a traffic stop after noticing that the vehicle’s registration did not match.

As the troopers used their emergency signals on S. Main St in Rutland City, two passengers hastily exited the vehicle. However, before they could apprehend the driver, later identified as Mullan, he accelerated and managed to evade the pursuing troopers.
