Delhi Police Arrest Prime Accused in Murder of ACP’s Son

New Delhi, India –

Delhi Police have successfully apprehended the prime suspect involved in the murder of a 26-year-old man, who happened to be the son of an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP). The accused, identified as Vikas Bhardwaj, was working as a clerk at Tis Hazari court under an advocate. The police have not only managed to make the arrest but have also recovered the victim’s lifeless body.

The shocking incident came to light after ACP Yashpal Chauhan filed a missing person complaint for his son, Lakshay Chauhan. Lakshay had failed to return home after attending a wedding in the Bhiwani district of Haryana. Concerned about his son’s sudden disappearance, ACP Chauhan sought immediate intervention from the authorities.

Initially, the case was registered as an abduction at Samaypur Badli police station. However, the situation took a grim turn when the police arrested and interrogated a 19-year-old individual named Abhishek, who resided in Narela. Abhishek’s statements during the questioning shed light on a cruel conspiracy.

According to Abhishek’s testimony, the prime accused, Vikas Bhardwaj, had devised a plan to eliminate Lakshay due to an unpaid loan. In furtherance of this sinister plot, all three individuals – Lakshay, Vikas, and Abhishek – traveled to Bhiwani, Haryana, to attend a wedding function. Tragically, on their return journey, Vikas and Abhishek callously pushed Lakshay into a river stream near Panipat.

The lifeless body of the deceased was eventually recovered from a canal in Haryana, near the Samalkha area. The police officials involved in the investigation expressed their deep condolences to the grieving family and assured them that justice would be served.

This shocking incident has once again raised concerns about personal safety and the need for stringent measures to prevent such heinous crimes. The Delhi Police have been commended for their swift action and dedication in solving this case. The arrest of the prime accused, Vikas Bhardwaj, serves as a reminder that no crime will go unpunished, and the law will prevail.
