30-Year-Old Man Commits Suicide by Jumping in Front of Moving Metro in New Delhi

A tragic incident unfolded in the national capital as a 30-year-old man took his own life by jumping in front of a moving metro train at the INA metro station, according to a police officer. The incident occurred on Saturday evening at around 7 pm, and the deceased has been identified as Ajitesh Singh.

The distressing event was captured on CCTV camera footage, which is now being widely circulated on social media platforms. The footage shows Singh deliberately leaping in front of a Samaypur Badli-bound train from platform number two at the INA Delhi Haat metro station.

Authorities received a PCR call reporting the incident, prompting a swift response from the police who immediately dispatched a team to the scene. Senior police officer stated, “Singh’s identity was confirmed through a call made on his mobile phone.”

The body of the deceased has been transferred to a nearby mortuary for further investigation. The police have initiated a thorough inquiry to determine the underlying reasons that led the man to take such a drastic step.
