16-Year-Old Boy Brutally Stabbed to Death in Udaipur

Udaipur: A 16-year-old boy was brutally stabbed to death by two of his cousins in full public view in the busy Dholi Bawadi area under Surajpole police station of Udaipur on Friday night, police said on Saturday. The murder was said to be the result of a longstanding feud.

Rohin, the victim, was allegedly stabbed four times with a knife by his cousins, Sabir (22) and Ayaan (23). According to Surajpol police station SHO Sunil Charan, the stabbing occurred after an altercation between Rohin and his cousins. The incident took place when Rohin, accompanied by his friends, had stopped at a paan shop to buy gutkha. Sabir and Ayaan arrived in a car and confronted Rohin over an unresolved dispute. The heated exchange escalated, leading the accused to stab Rohin multiple times in the chest. Despite efforts by his friends to intervene, the attackers continued assaulting Rohin.

As his friends ran away to save themselves, a profusely bleeding Rohin was rushed by locals to Maharana Bhupal Hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment, said the SHO.

The incident has shocked the local community, who are mourning the loss of a young life. The police have launched an investigation into the murder and are in the process of arresting the two cousins.
