YouTube Video of Dangerous High-Speed Bike Drive Leads to Arrest Warrant

YouTuber's 'Colorado Springs To Denver In 20 Minutes' Video Leads To Arrest Warrant

Mr Dietzmann’s YouTube account has more than 250,000 subscribers.

Authorities in Colorado, United States, have issued an arrest warrant for a 32-year-old man after he posted a video showcasing a dangerous and high-speed bike drive. According to Fox4News, the Colorado State Police have identified the YouTuber as Rendon Dietzmann, who is wanted for recording himself motorcycling at such alarming speeds that he managed to travel between Colorado Springs and Denver in just 20 minutes, a journey that typically takes an hour. In one of his videos shared in September, Dietzmann was seen riding at speeds over 150 miles per hour (mph).

Known as Gixxer Brah on YouTube, Dietzmann has gained a following of over 250,000 subscribers. However, his controversial video, which has now been deleted, captured his attempt to complete the drive from Colorado Springs to Denver in an unbelievably short time. Google Maps estimates the drive to take approximately an hour.

“Illegal and reckless driving behavior will not be tolerated in Colorado,” stated a police spokesperson as reported by the outlet. “We care too much for the safety of all road users to ignore such blatant disregard for their well-being,” the statement added.

Fox reported that Dietzmann was identified as part of a joint investigation conducted by the Colorado State Patrol, the Dallas Police, and the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office in Colorado.

With his YouTube account boasting over 250,000 subscribers and nearly 500 posted videos, Dietzmann’s page description reads “I like to wheelie… and go fast. Always trying to ride new bikes.” His Instagram account has also gathered a significant following of 171,000 followers.

This is not the first time Dietzmann has gained attention for his dangerous driving behavior. His videos often showcase him riding motorcycles in various parts of the United States.

The authorities have expressed their concerns over Dietzmann’s disregard for his own safety and the safety of others, as the video has resulted in “numerous” complaints.

YouTube, in response to the incident, informed Fox News Digital that they have previously removed content from Dietzmann’s channel, as their policies prohibit “harmful or dangerous acts” and actions that “pose a serious risk of severe bodily harm or death.”

As per the outlet, the 32-year-old is wanted on multiple charges including menacing, engaging in a speed contest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, speeding 40 mph over the limit, engaging in an exhibition of speed, and driving without license plates attached.
