In the early hours of January 25, 2024, a horrifying incident unfolded in Cleveland, Texas. At around 3:20 a.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Splendora Police Department Officers rushed to the 22000 block of Morgan Cemetery Road in response to an assault with a firearm call.

According to reports, a distressed female dialed 911, informing the authorities that three masked men had forcibly entered her residence and shot her husband multiple times. The assailants quickly fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of fear and devastation.

Fortunately, Splendora Police Officers were in close proximity and spotted a vehicle occupied by three individuals driving at an alarmingly high speed. The officers attempted to intercept the suspects, but two of them managed to escape, leaving behind their accomplice at a nearby gas station. A brief foot chase ensued, resulting in the arrest of the lone suspect.

The authorities have identified the three perpetrators as 26-year-old Andre Franklin, 27-year-old Derrick Wilson, and 23-year-old Jose Gutierrez, all hailing from Houston, Texas. Shockingly, all three individuals have a history of violent criminal offenses and have previously served time in prison. As a result, the judge has ordered that they be held without bond.
