BAHRAIN EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS LAUDED FOR CONTRIBUTING TO KINGDOM’S DEVELOPMENT

The forum is being organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Islamic Society, Checklist for Conventions and Trade Shows, the UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office, the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions, Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, and several other Islamic and international organizations specializing in halal products.

The event aims to promote Bahrain as a leading hub for halal products and to showcase the country’s capabilities in catering to the growing demand for halal goods and services. It will provide a platform for industry professionals, experts, and businesses to network, exchange knowledge, and explore potential collaborations.

BAHRAIN PROMOTES ITSELF AS A KEY MICE DESTINATION AT ICCA WORKSHOP

Bahrain recently hosted a major conference at the Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) in Sakhir, aimed at positioning the country as a key destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE). The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) workshop was attended by officials from the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, along with ICCA chief executive Dr Senthil Gopinath.

The workshop highlighted Bahrain’s state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure, its strategic location, and its commitment to providing a seamless experience for event organizers and attendees. IMPORTS IN BAHRAIN RISE BY FIVE PERCENT IN Q4 2023

Bahrain’s imports witnessed a significant increase of five percent during the fourth quarter of 2023, reaching a total of BD1.476 billion. This surge in imports reflects the country’s growing economy and its increased trade activities.

The rise in imports indicates the country’s strong consumer demand and the diversification of its economy. Bahrain continues to position itself as a regional trade hub, attracting businesses and investors from around the world.
