Two teenage boys arrived at a Buckeye fire station with gunshot wounds to their legs. The Buckeye Police Department had received reports of gunshots near 253rd and Long avenues.

In an alarming incident, two teenage boys were found seeking help at a Buckeye fire station in Arizona after sustaining gunshot wounds to their legs. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, and it has raised concerns among local authorities and residents.

The Buckeye Police Department had initially received reports of gunshots in the vicinity of 253rd and Long avenues. As officers were en route to the scene, they were informed that the injured teenagers had sought assistance at the fire station instead. This unexpected turn of events prompted an immediate response from the police.

The victims, aged 16 and 17, were quickly transported to a nearby hospital where they received treatment for their non-life-threatening injuries. The Buckeye Police Department confirmed that both teenagers arrived at the fire station in a car, accompanied by two other individuals who remained at the scene.

Carissa Planalp, a spokesperson for the Buckeye Police Department, stated that during the investigation, the injured boys informed the authorities that they were driving through the neighborhood near 253rd and Long avenues when the gunfire erupted. However, they were unable to provide any information about the suspect involved in the incident, leaving the police with limited leads to pursue.

Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered multiple spent shell casings, indicating that a firearm had indeed been discharged in the area. The police are currently working diligently to gather more information that may aid in identifying and locating the responsible party.
