Ohio State Troopers Arrest Four Suspects After Multi-County Pursuit

CLARK COUNTY — Newly released video footage shows state troopers engaging in a high-speed chase across five counties, resulting in the apprehension of four individuals on Monday.

In the early hours of the morning, troopers from the Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) discovered a Honda sedan on Interstate 71, just south of State Route 48, after it had evaded a traffic stop in Hamilton County, according to an OSHP spokesperson.

The pursuit spanned multiple counties, including Clinton, Greene, and Fayette, as the vehicle continued on I-71 and later onto State Route 72 in Clark County.

Eventually, the car veered off the road, traversed through a field, and crashed through a fence just north of West Possum Road.

Law enforcement identified the driver as 18-year-old Montez Deandre Mason Warren, hailing from Columbus. Warren now faces charges of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and receiving stolen property, both of which are considered felonies. He has been incarcerated at the Warren County Jail.

Additionally, the three other individuals involved, who are juveniles, have also been charged with receiving stolen property, as confirmed by the OSHP spokesperson.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol spokesperson also confirmed that the three other individuals involved in the incident, all of whom are juveniles, have been charged with receiving stolen property. The identities of these individuals have not been disclosed due to their age.
