Authorities have identified Richard C. Bailey, a 65-year-old man from Apollo, as the victim in a tragic car crash that occurred in Harmar on Wednesday morning. The incident took place shortly after 8 a.m. when Bailey’s vehicle veered off Gulf Lab Road and Anchor Drive, crashing into a nearby creek.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Bailey’s identity and reported his unfortunate demise. The cause of the crash remains unknown, and the Allegheny County Police are currently conducting an investigation, as stated by spokesman Jim Madalinsky.

As of now, no specific details regarding the cause or manner of death have been released to the public. Emergency responders discovered Bailey’s lifeless body inside the wreckage of his white Tesla.
