After an extensive investigation, detectives from the Gang Unit obtained a search warrant for a residence located in the 5400 block of Hamilton Street. The warrant was executed on January 18, 2024, leading to a major breakthrough in the case.

Massive Seizure of Drugs and Firearms

During the execution of the search warrant, investigators discovered a staggering amount of illegal substances and firearms. The recovered items included 13,825 fentanyl pills, cocaine, and three firearms. The seizure highlights the severity of the drug problem in the area and the importance of law enforcement efforts to combat it.

Arrest of Nine Suspects

Inside the apartment at the time of the raid were nine suspects who were promptly arrested by the detectives. The suspects have been identified as 20-year-old Erick Rivera-Arguera of no fixed address, 22-year-old Marbin Hernandez-Alavarez of Riverdale, 22-year-old Walter Flores-Mejia of Riverdale, 22-year-old Antonio Sanchez-Ramirez of Riverdale, 28-year-old Javier Reyes-Guzman of Hyattsville, 30-year-old Francisco Orellana of Riverdale, 31-year-old Sean Floyd of Bladensburg, 31-year-old Steven Abdul Johnson of Greenbelt, and 33-year-old Fernando Guzman of Glen Burnie.

Multiple Charges for Each Suspect

Each of the arrested suspects is facing multiple charges related to drug trafficking offenses, firearms offenses, and various drug-related crimes. The charges reflect the seriousness of their alleged involvement in the drug trade and the potential harm they pose to the community. The suspects are currently in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
