Motorcyclist Identified in Fatal Crash in Central Phoenix
PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — Police have identified a motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a devastating crash that occurred in central Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident took place around 1:10 p.m. near the intersection of 24th Street and Indian School Road. Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene to find 31-year-old Alexander Thompson, the motorcyclist, suffering from severe injuries. Thompson was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities conducting investigations have revealed that Thompson was traveling eastbound along Indian School Road when his motorcycle collided with a truck that was attempting to make a left turn onto 24th Street. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and exhibited no signs of impairment. However, detectives are still piecing together the events leading up to the tragic collision.
