The Horrific Discovery

The footage captures the distressing moment when an officer exclaims, “I’m not getting a pulse on him,” referring to one of the victims. The gravity of the situation becomes apparent as another officer responds with confusion, asking for clarification. The lifeless bodies of three men lay on the ground, victims of a senseless act of violence.

Unraveling the Tragedy

Further investigation reveals that the perpetrator, Pierce Hoempler, shot and killed the three victims outside his own home. Kassandra Rivera, a devastated family member, arrived at the scene upon learning of the shocking turn of events. She tearfully explains, “One of them is my uncle, and the other two are my cousins. All I know is that it was a dispute with our neighbors.”

According to the police, the victims have been identified as Hector Rivera and his adult sons, Frankie and Jeremy. The fatal shooting took place in the courtyard outside the suspect’s apartment. Hoempler claims that he had no choice but to resort to such extreme measures.

A Desperate Act of Self-Defense

Hoempler recounts the chilling moments leading up to the fatal encounter, stating, “I tried to avoid it as much as I could, but then his sons showed up.” He asserts that the maintenance man from the apartment complex and his two children had aggressively approached him, intending to attack.

Awaiting Justice Behind Bars

After swiftly apprehending Hoempler, the police transported him to the North Miami Police Department for questioning. During the interrogation, the officer inquiries about the location of the firearm used in the crime. Hoempler calmly responds, “It’s right there on the table, right when they walk in.”

North Miami Police have refrained from disclosing specific details regarding the initial confrontation between the maintenance man, his two sons, and the suspect. However, they have confirmed that all the victims were unarmed. Currently, Hoempler remains incarcerated at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, facing three counts of second-degree murder.
