Man Arrested for Fatal Shooting of Parent in Moody, Alabama

Police Respond to Domestic Assault Call

At approximately 11 p.m., Moody Police received a distress call reporting a possible domestic assault. Officers swiftly responded to the scene and discovered 61-year-old Joseph L. Bowlin and 60-year-old Connie L. Bowlin suffering from gunshot wounds.

Despite immediate medical attention, Joseph Bowlin was pronounced dead on the scene. Connie Bowlin, however, was quickly transported to UAB Hospital, where she is currently in stable condition, receiving treatment for her injuries.
