A man was apprehended in the early hours of Monday morning after allegedly breaking into a car at Mullinax Ford, a local dealership in Mobile, Alabama.

The Incident
Officers from the Mobile Police Department responded to a call at Mullinax Ford, located on Airport Boulevard, at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday. The call reported a vehicle burglary in progress. Upon arrival, the officers discovered 52-year-old David Russell Liles inside one of the vehicles and promptly detained him.

Upon searching David Russell Liles, law enforcement officers discovered illegal substances on his person. As a result, Liles was taken into custody and transported to the Mobile Metro Jail. He now faces multiple charges, including four counts of unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
The Mobile Police Department is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone with additional information to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
