The hotel manager and Okello informed DC Among of Kabalagala about Abdulrahman’s plans, leading to the involvement of the other officers. They arrived at the hotel and, in collaboration with Okello, who posed as a foreign exchange broker, and the hotel manager, they forcibly took Abdulrahman to a car and drove him to a garden behind the Kabalagala police station. There, they allegedly robbed him of the entire $30,000 and chased him away.
