Mother of 2-Year-Old Shot and Killed in Covington, Kentucky Sought by Police
COVINGTON, Ky. (WXIX) – Authorities are on the lookout for the mother of a 2-year-old girl who tragically lost her life in a shooting incident on Monday afternoon in Northern Kentucky. The victim, identified as Khalil Adams, succumbed to her injuries at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, as confirmed by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday.
Covington police responded to a report of a child being shot in the vicinity of Warren Street near Skyline Apartments around 12:45 p.m. on Monday. The toddler, Adams, was immediately rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive.
Although authorities have assured that there is no danger to the public, a warrant has been issued for the child’s mother, Selena Farrell, according to Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders. Farrell fled the scene even before the officers arrived and failed to show up at the hospital. Investigators believe she fled due to an existing warrant for a probation violation.

Investigation Underway into Fatal Shooting of 2-Year-Old in Covington
