Tragic Crash on I-95 Claims Four Lives, Including 17-Year-Old Driver

Early this morning, a devastating accident on I-95 in Johnston County, North Carolina, resulted in the loss of four lives, including that of a 17-year-old driver. The incident has left the community in shock and mourning.

The Incident

According to reports from WRAL, at approximately 2:39 am, a state trooper observed a car traveling north on I-95 at an alarming speed of 104 mph. The trooper attempted to catch up to the vehicle, but due to its rapid pace, it quickly disappeared from sight. As a result, the trooper did not initiate a traffic stop or pursue the car.

Tragically, moments later, the young driver lost control of the vehicle while attempting to exit the interstate at Brogden Road. The car collided with several trees, causing the back-seat passengers to be ejected. Meanwhile, the driver and the front-seat passenger became trapped inside the wreckage.

The Fatalities

Heartbreakingly, all four occupants of the vehicle lost their lives in the crash. The driver has been identified as 17-year-old Alan Lee Lockamy of Archer Lodge. At the time of this report, the identities of the three passengers have not yet been released.
