Multiple Theft Arrests Made at Walmart

(KRON) – Five individuals were apprehended by the American Canyon Police Department (ACPD) on Wednesday in connection with a series of thefts at Walmart.

Responding to a shoplifting report at around 2 p.m. on January 17, ACPD officers swiftly arrived at Walmart. Upon arrival, an officer came into contact with the suspect outside the establishment. The suspect was observed leaving the store premises with a cart full of stolen items. Realizing the presence of law enforcement, the suspect attempted to flee, leading to a brief chase inside the store before being apprehended.

The suspect has been identified as 36-year-old Garron Cooper.

Cooper has been arrested on charges of theft, conspiracy to commit theft, and resisting arrest.

Meanwhile, waiting in the getaway vehicle parked in the lot was Cooper’s alleged accomplice, 42-year-old Donti Cooper, a resident of Suisun City. Upon the officer’s discovery, Donti Cooper was also taken into custody on charges of theft and conspiracy to commit theft.

As employees of Walmart relayed the information, ACPD officers were informed that two women had stolen merchandise and fled the store. Subsequently, the suspects were located and arrested for theft. The individuals have been identified as 37-year-old Mihaela Bacelaru and 42-year-old Mirela Crudu, both residents of Vallejo.

During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that a family member of Bacelaru and Crudu was present at the scene. This family member, identified as 23-year-old Maria Ispir, was arrested on a felony warrant from Contra Costa County.

All five individuals involved in the thefts were subsequently booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
