Esterwood Man killed in Pickup Truck Accident in Jennings, Louisiana

An Esterwood man tragically lost his life after a fatal accident involving his pickup truck on East Racca Road in Jennings, Louisiana, according to the Jennings Police Department (JPD).

The incident occurred on January 21, at around 10:30 a.m., as reported by Jennings Police Chief Danny Semmes.

The victim, identified as Nicholas Istre from Esterwood, was driving his pickup truck in the westbound direction when a tire suddenly blew out, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.

Unfortunately, Istre was ejected from the truck as it flipped over into a nearby field. Shockingly, the truck struck him before finally coming to a stop in the field, according to Semmes.

JPD is still unsure of the exact time when the accident took place, but they speculate that it occurred overnight.
