During the course of their inquiry, the deputies apprehended Vicki Bodle’s 53-year-old son, Travis, at their shared residence. Authorities confirmed that no other individuals were present at the time of the incident, and there were no additional victims. Initially, Travis Bodle was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder. However, after his mother’s unfortunate demise, the charge was elevated to murder. The motive behind the alleged assault remains unclear, and investigators continue to delve into the case, Jarjura added.
