74-Year-Old Man Among the Victims of Annual Mumbai Marathon

Mumbai, January 22, 2022 – In a devastating turn of events, two participants, including a 74-year-old man, tragically collapsed and lost their lives during the annual TATA Mumbai Marathon held in the bustling city. The incident has left the entire running community and the nation in shock.

The scorching heat and strenuous physical exertion took a toll on several runners, leading to dehydration and other health complications. A total of 22 individuals participating in the marathon were rushed to nearby hospitals for necessary medical treatment.
