Man Fatally Shot in Portland’s Hillsdale Neighborhood Identified

Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Portland’s Hillsdale neighborhood as 35-year-old Joshua Page. The incident occurred on January 13, leading to Page’s untimely demise.

The Portland Police Bureau confirmed that Page’s family has been notified of his death. The medical examiner determined that Page died as a result of a gunshot wound, categorizing his death as a homicide.

The Shooting Incident

On the early morning of January 13, police responded to reports of a shooting on the 6300 block of SW Capitol Hwy at approximately 3:27 a.m. Authorities discovered Joshua Page inside a vehicle in a business parking lot, gravely injured. Urgent medical attention was provided, and he was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital.

During the investigation, the highway in the vicinity remained closed for several hours. However, no new information regarding a suspect has been released by the Portland Police Bureau.
