Knife-Wielding Individual Causes Tense Situation at Planet Fitness in Simi Valley

A highly alarming incident unfolded at the Planet Fitness located on Cochran Street in Simi Valley on Saturday evening, leaving gym-goers and staff in a state of panic. According to the Simi Valley Police, a male suspect entered the gym’s locker room brandishing a knife, creating a dangerous and threatening situation.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:00 PM, causing immediate distress for a gym patron who came face-to-face with the armed individual. Realizing the severity of the situation, the gym member promptly dialed emergency services by calling 9-1-1 to report the dangerous intruder.

He has since been booked at the Ventura County Main Jail, facing charges of 417 PC and 242 PC.
