Tragic Crash in Klamath County Claims Five Lives
In a devastating turn of events, a fatal car crash in Klamath County, Oregon has resulted in the loss of five lives and left one person injured. The Oregon State Police reported that the accident occurred on Wednesday, involving two vehicles.

The incident unfolded when 39-year-old Juan Ochoa Bravo, a resident of Bend, was driving northbound in a Chrysler Pacifica. Tragically, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to slide into oncoming traffic. A 56-year-old driver from Los Angeles, operating a Peterbilt truck with an attached trailer, swerved off the southbound shoulder of the highway in an attempt to avoid the oncoming Chrysler. However, Bravo collided with the front of the Peterbilt, sending the Chrysler spinning across the northbound lane.
Authorities were alerted to the crash on Highway 97 just after 9:30 a.m. The Chrysler was carrying two teenagers, an infant, Bravo, and 37-year-old Eve Saldana Alcantar. Heartbreakingly, all five occupants of the Chrysler were pronounced dead at the scene. The only survivor from the Chrysler was an 11-year-old passenger, who was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Thankfully, the driver of the Peterbilt truck escaped the accident without any injuries.
