INDIANAPOLIS — In a tragic incident, another Indiana State Police trooper’s vehicle was struck early Sunday morning, just hours after a crash that critically injured ISP trooper Azariah Keith on I-65 southbound. The incident occurred near the 116-mile marker on I-65 SB.

According to ISP Sgt. John Perrine, the trooper involved in the second accident has been identified as Kari Woodard. Woodard’s vehicle was struck by a driver around 6 a.m. while she was investigating a crash. Fortunately, Woodard was outside of the vehicle when it was damaged and did not sustain any injuries.
