Police authorities have recently released the mugshot of a 25-year-old woman who has been charged with felony murder in connection with a shooting incident that took place in Forest Park, resulting in the death of a 47-year-old man. The victim, identified as Andre Farrier, was shot at least once and was found in a state of consciousness fluctuation when law enforcement arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries later at the hospital.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that Farrier was engaged in a heated argument with a woman, who immediately left the apartment complex following the shooting.

Detectives have identified the woman as Oni Layell Hart, and they strongly suspect her to be responsible for firing the fatal shot that claimed Farrier’s life.

In order to apprehend Hart, Clayton County officials collaborated with the City of Love Joy and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, engaging in hours-long efforts to coax her out of her residence located in the 1700 block of Fielding Way in Hampton.

However, when voluntary surrender attempts proved unsuccessful, the Clayton County SWAT team was called in to forcefully extract her. Eventually, she was discovered hiding in her attic.

Hart is now facing multiple charges, including felony murder, aggravated assault, prostitution, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and obstruction of an officer.

To provide further insight into the case, the Clayton County Police Department shared a video of Hart’s apprehension on their official Facebook page on Friday afternoon.
