Body of Missing Man Found in Lake St. George, Palm Harbor

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a death investigation after the body of a missing man was discovered in Lake St. George in Palm Harbor on Saturday. The incident has left the local community in shock.

On Friday evening at 7 p.m., deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a request for assistance from the Clearwater Police Department. The authorities were called in to search for an elderly man who had gone missing. The missing person, identified as 85-year-old Clouster Bryant, was reported by his family after he failed to return home from a fishing trip to Lake St. George.

Deputies immediately began their search at the north boat ramp of Lake St. George, where they discovered Bryant’s pick-up truck. As the search continued, a capsized John Boat was found on the south side of the lake. Tragically, next to the boat, they discovered the lifeless body of Clouster Bryant.

Remarkably, Bryant was found wearing a life jacket and had fishing equipment with him. There were no visible signs of recent damage to his boat, leading authorities to believe that his death was not the result of criminal activity.
