Breneida Gottschalk, who is already facing charges for threatening violence at a McDonald’s over burnt fries, has now been charged with making terrorist threats and misdemeanor bail jumping.

Law enforcement was called to the vicinity of Brookfield Square after receiving reports of a woman, later identified as Gottschalk, who refused to disembark from a bus and allegedly made threats to shoot everyone on board, states a criminal complaint. However, no weapons were found on her person.

According to the complaint, Gottschalk told the police that someone she knew on the bus had taken all her cards. Police described her as being in a frantic state and continuously yelling at the officers as they attempted to communicate with her.

An individual interviewed by the police revealed that there had been numerous prior issues involving Waukesha Metro Transit and Gottschalk. The person stated that Gottschalk had threatened to “shoot somebody’s (expletive) up,” directing the threat towards everyone on the bus. Prosecutors stated that when asked to leave the bus, Gottschalk caused more commotion and later claimed ownership of the bus and the transportation system.

The officer handling the case stated that he was familiar with Gottschalk from previous incidents on the bus, and her behavior was not uncommon.

At the time of this incident, Gottschalk was already out on bond for the McDonald’s threat case. In that case, she is charged with disorderly conduct and is currently released on a $500 signature bond with the condition that she does not commit any new offenses. She has pleaded not guilty in that case.

Gottschalk made her initial court appearance on Friday, January 19, for the bus incident. She was given a cash bond of $500.
