West Point Police Department Seeks Assistance in Locating Person of Interest in Recent Homicide Case

WEST POINT, Mississippi (WTVA) – The West Point Police Department is appealing to the public for help in finding a person of interest wanted for questioning in connection with a double homicide and aggravated assaults that occurred on Sunday, January 14.

The individual in question has been identified as Jaquan Zavion Collins, also known as Tonk. Authorities believe he was last seen driving a black Acura with a sunroof. The vehicle may have bullet holes in either the body or the glass. Collins was last known to be in the Tunica, Mississippi area, but he also has ties to Biloxi and Gulfport, Mississippi.

Described as a 21-year-old African American male, Collins stands approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 175 pounds. He has a light complexion and sports a partial sleeve tattoo on his right arm, which extends from his elbow to his wrist. The tattoo reveals the word “HARD.”
