Three Men Charged with Felony Murder in Killing of Antoine Gee Jr.

Three individuals have been charged with felony murder in connection to the tragic killing of 33-year-old Antoine Gee Jr., as confirmed by his grieving family. The incident took place on the evening of January 10th, shortly after 10 p.m., near Sherman Boulevard and Congress Street in Milwaukee. Gee, who worked as a Domino’s delivery driver, was fatally shot during the incident.

Milwaukee police have apprehended and arrested three suspects in relation to the shooting. The individuals, identified as 17-year-old Armier McArthur, 17-year-old Keyshaun McNealy, and 17-year-old Damain Patrick, now face charges of felony murder. If convicted, they could potentially face up to 55 years in prison.

An investigation into the incident revealed that the shooting occurred while the teenagers may have been attempting to steal the pizza from Gee. A witness informed the police that the group had planned to order a pizza and “snatch it.” Surveillance footage from a nearby camera captured Gee’s arrival at the location to deliver the pizza. Moments later, three individuals approached Gee, leading to a struggle between him and two of the assailants on the sidewalk. Another person stood nearby.

The criminal complaint states that gunshots can be heard in the video, after which Gee and two individuals moved towards the median on Sherman Boulevard. The three suspects quickly fled the scene, leaving Gee injured and motionless in the median. Tragically, the Milwaukee County medical examiner confirmed that Gee sustained three gunshot wounds, which proved fatal.

Jerome Avery Sr., Gee’s grieving uncle, expressed his anguish over the senselessness of the crime committed by young individuals. He stated, “It’s senseless what they did. These are kids that did this. And you took away a good one for nothing. When you took him, you didn’t just ruin his life, you ruined a community.”

Gee’s family fondly remembers him as a hardworking family man who always aimed to bring smiles to people’s faces. Kashmer Toliver, Gee’s sister, reminisced about his infectious smile, stating, “He had the biggest smile. He didn’t even like to smile, so for him to smile at you? You’re one of a kind.” She added that Gee lived his life without regrets and would have willingly given the pizza and paid for it himself if the suspects had simply asked.
