Pune: Loni Kalbhor police have apprehended an externally banned criminal along with his two accomplices on charges of vandalizing a farmer’s car and stealing Rs3,000 from him on Wednesday night at Bazar Mala Road.
The three arrested individuals have been identified as Hrishikesh Pawar (25), the externally banned criminal, and his aides Gaurav Sonawane (21) and Sagar Pawar (20).
The victim, Rajesh Kalbhor, a 31-year-old farmer, was on his way home when the trio, accompanied by another suspect who is currently evading arrest, forced him to stop his vehicle and robbed him of Rs3,000. Kalbhor reported that the suspects also threw stones at his car.
