Arrest Made in Connection with Tewksbury Break-in Caught on Camera: Dana Sacca Faces Charges of Breaking and Entering, Larceny, and More

(WHDH) – A 41-year-old man from Tewksbury, Dana Sacca, has been arrested and is now facing criminal charges following a break-in incident that occurred last month in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. The break-in was captured on a home surveillance camera, providing valuable evidence for the investigation.

Tewksbury Police Chief Ryan Columbus announced that Sacca has been charged with multiple offenses, including breaking and entering during the nighttime, larceny of a motor vehicle, and receiving stolen property valued over $1,200.

The incident took place on Overlook Drive on Tuesday, December 26. Police officers who responded to the scene discovered that the suspects had managed to steal a range of valuable items, including jewelry and electronics, before fleeing the scene in a black Mazda Miata that had been parked in the driveway.

Following a thorough investigation, Dana Sacca was identified as a suspect in the case. He was subsequently apprehended at a nearby hotel on Friday. However, the investigation into the break-in is still ongoing, and the possibility of additional charges against other individuals involved cannot be ruled out at this stage.

In a statement, Chief Columbus expressed his appreciation for the relentless efforts of the Criminal Investigation Division in resolving this case. He acknowledged that their dedication and hard work played a crucial role in bringing some relief to the victims. Furthermore, he emphasized that the police department will continue to pursue justice until all individuals involved are taken into custody.
