Woman wanted for murder of boyfriend in Macclesfield, North Carolina

The Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Vicki Renee Russell, who is accused of killing her boyfriend, Alexander Atkinson. Deputies were called to Atkinson’s home in Macclesfield on Thursday for a welfare check and discovered his lifeless body. It was determined that Atkinson died as a result of an assault, and authorities believe Russell is responsible for his death. She is currently wanted on first-degree murder charges.
