In a heartbreaking incident that occurred late on Thursday night, a seven-year-old boy lost his life after reportedly falling into an under-construction septic tank in Boddapalem, under the jurisdiction of the Anandapuram police station in Visakhapatnam.

The young victim, identified as Kowshik Visakh, was a resident of Madhurawada. He had come to his relatives’ house in Boddapalem to celebrate the Sankranthi holidays. However, tragedy struck when he went missing on Thursday evening.
Concerned family members launched a frantic search for Kowshik, scouring the surrounding areas for any signs of his whereabouts. Their desperate search led them to discover his toy gun near an under-construction septic tank. Realizing the gravity of the situation, they immediately began searching the tank and were devastated to find the lifeless body of the young boy inside.
According to Sub Inspector Arun from the Anandapuram police station, it is suspected that Kowshik accidentally fell into the 12-feet deep tank while playing. The police have registered a case and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
