The Orlando Police Department has announced the arrest of a man following a deadly shooting that occurred as a result of an argument in Orlando. The incident took place on January 8th at the intersection of Thomas Street and Drew Avenue. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement discovered the lifeless body of Michael Robinson, a 35-year-old man.

According to authorities, the shooting transpired following a dispute between two individuals who were known to each other. The argument escalated, leading to shots being fired and the tragic death of Michael Robinson. The Orlando Police Department received a call regarding the incident at approximately 12:13 PM on the day of the shooting.

The suspected shooter, identified as 22-year-old Timothy Earl Isom-Petty Jr., remained at the scene and has been detained for questioning. On Thursday, Isom-Petty Jr. was charged with premeditated first-degree murder. The motive behind the dispute has yet to be disclosed by the police.

Witnesses in the area reported hearing four to five loud pops or bangs during the altercation. A resident on Drew Avenue, who wishes to remain anonymous, shared that he initially mistook the sounds for something else but later realized they were gunshots upon seeing the law enforcement presence. The police have not made any additional arrests in connection with the case.

At this time, the exact details of the argument leading up to the shooting remain unknown. The Orlando Police Department has launched a thorough investigation, with detectives and crime scene experts working diligently to gather evidence and establish a clear understanding of the events that unfolded.

Various individuals who were present at the scene declined to comment publicly, expressing their distress over the incident. However, one woman, speaking off-camera, expressed her knowledge of the deceased victim and stated that he did not deserve such a tragic fate.
