Two Drivers Hospitalized After Car Crash in Lincoln City, Oregon

Lincoln City Police reported a collision between two vehicles on Tuesday, resulting in both drivers being sent to the hospital. The accident took place on January 16th, just before 8:30 p.m., on S Highway 101 near S 51st Street in Lincoln City, Oregon.

According to authorities, the crash involved a silver Subaru WRX and a black Toyota Sequoia SUV, both of which sustained significant damage. The driver of the Subaru, identified as 20-year-old Trevor J. Norton from Siletz, Oregon, and the driver of the Toyota, identified as 45-year-old David P. Mizelle from Lincoln City, Oregon, were both injured as a result of the collision.

Police investigations revealed that Norton was traveling southbound on S Highway 101 at an excessively high speed when he lost control of his vehicle. Consequently, his car went airborne and collided with Mizelle’s Toyota SUV.

Following the crash, emergency services were immediately called to the scene, and both Norton and Mizelle were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. The severity of their injuries remains undisclosed at this time.

As a consequence of his reckless driving behavior, Norton was subsequently arrested on charges of reckless driving and reckless endangering by the Lincoln City Police.
