In a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through Delhi, a 12-year-old girl was tragically struck by a school bus and sadly succumbed to her injuries.

Delhi: In a devastating incident that has left the city of Delhi in shock, a young girl, aged 12, was involved in a fatal accident when she was struck by a hired school bus.

The horrifying incident occurred this morning, prompting immediate action from the local authorities. The tragic accident took place on the Janta Flats Road near Aggarwal Sweets in Sarita Vihar.

The victim has been identified as Kajal, the beloved daughter of Farzaan Ali, a resident of Virender Ka Makhan near Sunder Public School, Madan Pur Khadar, Delhi. Ali has filed a formal complaint with the police, seeking justice for his daughter’s untimely demise.

According to preliminary reports, the young girl was tragically struck by a bus that had been hired for school transportation purposes. The vehicle in question bears the registration number UP-16-JT-5123. It is yet to be determined whether the victim attended the same school or was simply a bystander.

Bus driver apprehended

In a swift response, the local authorities have successfully apprehended the bus driver involved in the accident. The driver has been identified as Ram Vinod, a 42-year-old resident of Barkhu in Village Nagva, Khalilabad, located in the Sant Kabir Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

A first information report (FIR) has been registered against the bus driver under sections 279/304A IPC. Additionally, the vehicle has been seized as part of the ongoing investigation to establish the circumstances leading to this tragic incident.
