Approximately 25 minutes later, a 36-year-old man who was on his way to work got into an altercation with the suspect on a bus. The altercation continued outside the bus, resulting in the victim being stabbed.

The NYPD has confirmed that all of these incidents are connected, and they are also investigating whether the suspect is linked to a stabbing that occurred on a subway train in Brooklyn on the same day. In that incident, a 28-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen without provocation.

The suspect, who was described as wearing a green jacket, a black hoodie, and either white Converse or black and white Adidas sneakers, has been apprehended.
