In response to the report, a team comprising of Thanakorn Sueatrong, Wattanachai Saengrit (the head of Nong Prue Police Station), Arut Saphanon (Deputy Investigation Officer), forensic experts from Chon Buri Evidence Centre, and rescuers from Sawang Rojanathamsathan Foundation, swiftly arrived at the scene. The team rushed to Romnalin’s fourth-floor room, where they made a gruesome discovery.

Romnalin’s lifeless body was found at the foot of her bed, half-dressed in shorts. Her body was bloated, and blood was scattered across the floor. KhaoSod reported that initial estimates suggest the young woman had been deceased for approximately eight to nine days.

Forensic experts meticulously collected evidence from the room, hoping to uncover clues that would shed light on the circumstances surrounding Romnalin’s untimely demise. Inquiries with the condo staff revealed that Romnalin had not been seen for seven to eight days. Concerned by the silence that met their attempts to contact her, the staff decided to inspect her room due to the foul smell emanating from within. To their horror, they discovered the lifeless body and immediately alerted the authorities.

Romnalin’s last communication with her mother was on January 8th, after which all contact ceased. As part of the ongoing investigation, the police are carefully reviewing CCTV footage from the condominium, aiming to identify any signs of suspicious activity.

To determine the cause of death, the deceased’s body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the Police General Hospital for an autopsy. Condominium staff, relatives, and Romnalin’s family will all be questioned as part of the thorough investigation process to ensure justice is served.
