Accident – Death – Obituary News : A Peters Township resident has been arrested for allegedly stabbing another man during a ride with Uber. According to court documents, the incident occurred on January 12. The Uber driver reported that his two passengers engaged in a physical altercation.
During the altercation, one of the passengers, identified as Christopher Cavanagh, brandished a knife. Fearing for his safety, the driver stopped the vehicle and sought refuge. Meanwhile, the victim sustained multiple stab wounds to his chest and was found by the police along Georgetown Road in Cecil Township.

Fortunately, the authorities were able to locate Cavanagh near the scene of the crime and promptly took him into custody. The victim was swiftly transported to UPMC Mercy Hospital for medical treatment.
Christopher Cavanagh now faces several charges, including aggravated assault, as a result of the incident.
