Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO) has provided new details in the investigation of an overnight shooting. Sheriff Jason Ard has identified the suspect as Kennetra Ary, a 22-year-old resident of Walker. The victims have been identified as Kenneth Ary, 58, also from Walker, and Helen Ary, 21, from Tomball, TX.

According to Sheriff Ard, the investigation revealed that Kennetra Ary lived with her father (Victim #1) at the Mobile Home Park in Walker. Her sister (Victim #2) was visiting them at their shared home. An argument ensued, which escalated and led to Kennetra Ary retrieving a firearm. She fired multiple rounds at her father and sister, resulting in their tragic deaths. The investigation indicates that no one else was involved in the incident.
