Dubuque Man Arrested for Mother’s Murder in Iowa
DUBUQUE, Iowa (KWWL) – Authorities have apprehended a suspect in connection with the tragic death of a woman in Dubuque on Thursday. The victim has been identified as 46-year-old Jennifer Ann Dazey, and her son, 28-year-old Tyler James Dazey, has been charged with first-degree murder.

At approximately 8:50 a.m. on Thursday morning, Dubuque Police received a report of a “suspicious” death in the 1600 block of Avoca Street. Officers swiftly responded to the scene and discovered the lifeless body of Jennifer Ann Dazey inside her residence.
Son Arrested and Charged
Following their investigation, authorities arrested Tyler James Dazey, the son of the deceased, on suspicion of committing the heinous act. He has since been taken into custody at the Dubuque County Jail.
