Zakkary McReynolds, an 18-year-old, has been arrested on murder charges following the death of a 17-year-old. According to a news release from the Denton Police Department, McReynolds sold fentanyl to the victim, resulting in his death.

The incident took place on September 25th when officers responded to an overdose call in the 7500 block of Barrymore Road. The unconscious victim, identified as Ryan Erwin, was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
